You dont need Mangoes to become Durga !

For a long time, I believed that the second innings of my career would be about finding my purpose and building a legacy.

Instead, it became a phase of understanding society and understanding men.

As a single, unmarried woman, I observed something fascinating.

I call it the Male Status Game..

Some men spend enormous energy seeking external validation—luxury cars, yachts, expensive holidays, perfectly curated Instagram photographs... sometimes even posing with mangoes, pumpkins and every possible symbol of success.

Hey....You dont Mangoes to become Durga!
Durga exists before marriage.

Sorry ladies and gentleman,  unlike you i dont see marriage as an achievement.
Sorry ladies and gentleman,  unlike you i dont see motherhood as an achievement.

Sitting on a Boat and having a Beer is definitely an achievement and success.

But this post isn't really about mangoes. It's about something much deeper.

I have noticed that many people are willing to recognize Durga in a woman after marriage and motherhood.
Suddenly, she is seen as strong.
Suddenly, she is respected.
Suddenly, she is called courageous.
What made her courageous ? Mangoes ?

Men dont show pictures of mangoes to married woman or even a divorced woman. Would you?
You respect them !
Why is it so difficult for society to recognize Durga in a single, unmarried woman?

A woman's courage does not begin with marriage.
I repeat.
A woman's courage does not begin with marriage.
Her dignity does not depend on having been chosen by a man.
Her wisdom is not measured by her relationship status.
Sometimes, the greatest act of courage is building a meaningful life entirely on your own.

I have lived independently for eighteen years after my father passed away. I have carried responsibilities. I have protected my family's legacy.

I have faced uncertainty without the emotional, financial, or social safety net that many people take for granted. That deserves respect too.

Society often sees Durga after marriage.

I have seen her before it.

Because Durga existed before marriage.

She was never created by marriage.

The video below is from my native village in Kerala.
Let me show you some real mango trees - They are my trees.
I have Coconut trees, Mangoes Trees, Pineapple and Banana Plantation.

Society must learn to respect unmarried woman !

Because at the end of the day, a mango can make a great smoothie......but it has never convinced me to go on a date. 🥭😂

How about OKRA !
A picture with Okra might impress me !
