I love this song, singer calls out ;

Oh reflection of my own self,  dont tremble, blur… disappear like a shadow in the water ; It holds both longing and liberation — the fear of losing oneself.

Self calling out to the Reflection of Self.

And that is why it echoes the water lily for me.

When dignity is shaken, the stillness of water breaks.
And when the water is no longer still, the reflection of the water lily trembles, blurs… disappears like a shadow.
Reflection is lost.
Self is lost.

The longing in the song is the longing not to lose oneself.
Without dignity, the inner waters can never be calm enough to hold our reflection.

Because Dignity is nothing but Humanity.

And a human soul cannot thrive where dignity is negotiable.

Tat Tvam Asi — You are what you seek.
You are the flower.
You are the reflection.
You are the sunlight.

For me, Uyiraayi Maarave is the cry of a soul saying:

Don’t let me disappear.
Don’t let me lose the reflection of who I am.
Because losing dignity is losing reflection of self on water — a vanishing shadow where self once stood.

Magic Happens...in Stillness..in Dignity !
Because Dignity is Humanity !

Because dignity is not decoration.
It is existence. It is Humanity.
It is the shape of the soul on still water.

And my Self is as beautiful,
as sacred,
as the water lily in bloom.

And iam a reflection of that self.
