Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

Finally sharing my long-overdue post on the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market located in Thailand.
Since I couldn’t settle on a new topic, I decided to gather all my floating market photos and wrap up this much-awaited post.

This place was giving me serious Alappuzha vibes!
Only difference? My home in Kerala chills near the Arabian Sea, while this floating market prefers the company of the Gulf of Thailand. Same boat life, different sea.

Solo travel — which basically means I make friends with strangers and turn them into part-time photographers.

Had a beer – stayed awake, danced a little, laughed a lot… and remembered everything.
Miraculous, I know!

Also, here’s to my forever love: Solo travel.
From Japan to Indonesia, Singapore to Hong Kong, Dubai to  China, and even London — all solo, all unforgettable.
There’s something magical about discovering the world on your own terms. Just me, my backpack, and the whole wide world.

DEI Enthu..
From navigating streets alone to discovering hidden gems no one told me about — solo travel has been my favorite kind of adventure. Just me, my curiosity.

That beer had me feeling all kinds of royal — I was this close to diving into the water and swimming with the fishes, mermaid-style. But alas, reality struck…
Turns out, swimming in a floating market is not allowed.

Another beer on the way back to Airport !
