Two weeks ago, I shared a video of myself rolling on water in a bikini. The response? A torrent of judgement from men—branding me as "lazy." This reaction got me thinking about the metaphorical swimsuits we, as women, don to navigate the turbulent waters of patriarchy.
However, the judgement I faced for simply enjoying a moment in a bikini highlights the ongoing struggle against societal expectations. It underscores how women's choices, are scrutinized and often deemed insufficient.
This scrutiny reflects the patriarchal tendency to dictate women's roles and behaviours, both in and out of the workplace. I have experienced this first hand in 2018.
So, as we don our metaphorical swimsuits—be it the roles of caregivers, professionals, or any identity we choose—let's remember that our worth isn't defined by relentless productivity, hard work or adherence to societal norms. Embracing moments of joy and relaxation isn't laziness; it's a reclaiming of our autonomy and a challenge to the exploitative expectations placed upon us.
Decathlon...We love you !
I refuse to accept that a woman must toil away for 20 hours a day just to earn love and sex! If a woman has to prove her worth through sheer exhaustion, isn't that just a glorified form of exploitation?
Remember, ladies, you don't have to work yourself to the bone to be valued. Know your worth, set your boundaries, and don't let anyone make you feel less than amazing!
In the end, whether we're rolling on water or navigating the complexities of daily life, let's do so on our own terms, free from unwarranted judgement and the constraints of patriarchal expectations.
Decathlon - Swimsuit ! !
For some, "hard work" is merely a catchphrase—a convenient excuse to justify their relentless chase for money, sex, power, or pleasure. Few actually find joy in their work; it's not about integrity or genuine dedication; it's just a means to an end.
In my own life, the bikini embodies my refusal to let others dictate my path. Whether in my career or personal endeavors, I assert my right to make choices that align with my values and desires. This mindset is crucial in a world where societal pressures often attempt to steer women toward predefined roles.
If you want a sexy daily swim suit for daily use then Speedo is the best !
Embracing the bikini is more than just adopting a fashion trend; it's a declaration of independence. It's a reminder that our bodies are our own, and we have the power to define our narratives be it career or personal life.
Iam not the kinda giel who beleies in that women are expected to take on supporting roles and long working long hours only to be qualified for sex by men..
If you think I'm about to pen my life history and job resume to prove my worth—nah.
Why? Because I don't owe society an explanation.
So, yes, I guess I'm "lazy." Sorry, HRs and Engineers, I'm not joining your struggle. 😂
Iam a kind of Girl who love to dance on the beach having a beer after a swim in the blue waters.....
Ah, the universe—always so generous, charging us mere mortals the lowest prices for its most extravagant gifts. Take, for instance, the simple joys of lying on a beach, sipping a drink, and dancing like nobody's watching. The cost? Just the price of your bikini and beverage. Everything else? Gratis.
It's a beautiful reminder that sometimes, the best things in life are free. So, next time you're reveling in these simple pleasures, remember: the universe has a sale on happiness, and you're getting the VIP discount.
