ได้ยิน

ได้ยิน is a Thai word pronounced as Dai-Yin which means - "To Feel"

Dai-Yin explains the inter-connectedness of Words ; Images ; Sound ; Emotion and  Intuition.

Words and Images create sound, which in turn evokes emotions, leading to intuitive responses. This experience can be deeply felt in the hotels of Thailand, where the environment is thoughtfully crafted to stir the senses and connect with the spirit.

In line with the concept of Dai-Yin, the images and artwork kept in Thai Hotels are not only visually appealing but evokes emotions.  According to Dai-Yin, one should avoid imposing on others; communication should be conducted in a way that ensures the other person does not feel pressured or overwhelmed.

Have you heard of  Echoes of the Soul !

A man once sought wealth through a woman’s embrace, fathering two children in the process. But the hunger in his heart remained—now, he longs for a woman who will seek him not for love, but for his money. In his desire to feel powerful, he unknowingly walks the same path he once led :  We do not escape what we seek; we become it. You are what you seek !

A woman once surrendered her heart to a man’s riches, but when his fortunes faded, so did her presence. After fifteen years of submission, she now desires a man who will yield to her wealth, just as she once did. The chains we wear become the chains we forge for others. You are what you seek !

In the grand dance of life, the echoes of our past choices shape our future. The soul does not forget—it merely reflects back to us what we have been seeking all along.

Dai-Yin means embracing self-forgiveness for the choices made in pursuit of financial gain. Only when you extend compassion to yourself can you truly cultivate empathy for others.

Dai-Yin = Self Forgiveness and Self Compassion !

Many times, I wonder if I erred in seeking revenge on those already wounded—souls trapped in their own unforgiveness, unknowingly trying to bind others with the very chains they themselves cannot break.

While we must extend empathy to such individuals, we must also remain vigilant, for the wounds they carry can sometimes become the very storms that disrupt our own peace.

The word "Dai-yin" seems to embody a principle of empathy and emotional awareness in communication. In essence, it reminds Thais (and perhaps anyone adopting this concept) to speak thoughtfully, considering not just the literal meaning of their words, but also the potential emotional impact those words may have on others. It encourages mindfulness, ensuring that the speaker remains sensitive to the feelings and perspectives of the listener.
