Bangaluru Tech Summit : 2024
The motivation a startup employee gains from the government
is truly transformative—fueling dreams with unwavering support, essential
resources, and the confidence to turn the impossible into reality.
Engaging in discussions with industry leaders was a deeply
inspiring experience, offering fresh perspectives and invaluable insights.
But the highlight was sharing the room with Umakant
Soni—a true visionary who founded India’s first AI startup and pioneered the
introduction of Chatbots in the country. Standing in the presence of such
brilliance was nothing short of electrifying. Moments like these reignite
ambition, reminding us to dream bigger and aim higher. 🌟
A walk alongside one of India’s most iconic Business Woman, Dr. Kiran
Mazumdar Shaw, is more than just a moment—it’s an experience that leaves you
inspired and in awe.
Every step felt like a masterclass in leadership, humility,
and purpose.
According to NASSCOM, Bangalore proudly hosts over 7,000-10,000 start-ups, solidifying its position as India’s leading start-up hub.
In the North, it’s often those who inherit substantial property from their parents who venture into business. But in Bengaluru, it’s a different story—people with no financial safety net or inherited wealth take the bold leap to start their own businesses, driven by sheer passion, grit, and the fearless spirit of entrepreneurship. This is what truly sets Namma Bengaluru apart making it a Global Start Up Hub.
The event marked a historic milestone with the launch of India's first policy for Global Capability Centres (GCCs), underscoring Karnataka's commitment to strengthening its position as a global leader in innovation and talent.
A defining milestone in my career—I had the incredible honour
of presenting our AI solution to the British High Commission of India, one
of the most prestigious and distinguished audiences in the country.
Moments like these are a culmination of passion,
perseverance, and purpose—a reminder of how far we’ve come and the limitless
possibilities ahead. 🌟
Priyank Mallikarjun Kharge, IT-BT Minister of Karnataka and
son of Mallikarjun Kharge, brought the global audience to laughter while
capturing the true essence of Bengaluru.
He humorously reflected on how, 20 years ago, Bengalureans
aspired to date and marry someone with a secure job at IBM, complete with a
fixed salary, bonus, PF, gratuity, medical insurance, and pension.
Fast forward to today, Bengalureans are drawn to those
taking bold leaps, working in startups, and stepping outside their comfort
zones. This shift, he said, embodies the fearless, innovative spirit of Namma
Bengaluru—a city where dreams are nurtured, risks are embraced, and the
impossible becomes reality.
The audience’s laughter wasn’t just at his wit but in agreement with the powerful evolution of Bengaluru's mindset. 💙✨ #SpiritOfBengaluru #InnovationMeetsHeart
In contrast, many North Indians think I’m a failure because
I’m not clinging to the “holy grail” of a fixed salary, bonus, and PF.
Apparently, breaking away from tradition is a big no-no! 😅
But hey, maybe that’s why North India is still playing
catch-up with the South.
So, fine, I accept it—I’m a failure! At least I’m
failing forward with the fearless, risk-taking spirit of Namma Bengaluru! 😂🌟
