Hips Dont Lie is one of my favourited Latin pop with a mix of Rap/Hip-Hop !
The roots of hip-hop, born from oppression and pain, share this rebellious energy. It was a lifeline for Black communities who were stripped of humanity and respect, needed a voice. Rap, the essence of hip-hop, became a way to fight back, turning rage into art.
Hip-Hop - Its raw, unfiltered energy can be connected with the struggles of women too, who have long faced societal pressures to conform.
In a world where expectations weigh heavily, "Hips Don't Lie" plays as a rallying cry. Shakira’s rhythm embodies an undeniable truth—femininity is powerful and resilient. Each beat pulses with a reminder that staying true to oneself can defy a world set on molding us into its image.
Particularly the song "Hips Dont Lie" is significant in a culture where women are frequently under pressure to meet certain expectations of conduct.
There is Rap in the song by Rap Artist Wyclef Jean

Men, claiming power, sometimes stand in the way of the career progress of a woman, demanding sexual favours, withholding opportunities. Whenever i came across such testing men (2018) ; I decided to face it head-on. I’ve chosen to guard my self-respect fiercely, even if it means going slower in career.
Iam a Virgin ; Virginity isn’t about purity; it’s about taking control, refusing to be bartered or broken.
Ladies, it’s wild out there. We’re supposed to find the one, who can build our career, and balance everything like pros. You know what i mean ?
For those who don’t feel they have the courage to stand up, I’d say: find your strength.
It’s our bodies, our lives, our choices. In Japan - There were many woman who could not face the challenge head-on ; They did it ; I’ve counseled some towards abortion, understanding it as a personal choice, a reclaiming of control over their own bodies.
Remember Hips dont lie - They move with the rhythm of survival of self-love, and of a strength that only we woman can define.
If you aren't going to use your heart, then what's the difference if it gets broken !
Bringing a tiny human into this world... for money? That’s a hard pass, my friend! Babies aren’t some cash-back reward program. Babies aren’t some kind of cash-back deal!
If you aren't going to use your heart, then what's the difference if it gets broken !
Those who could not face the challenge Head-On ; Just go for Abortion and kill the tiny human.
Next time you run into one of those testing guys, just hit him with, “Hey, just so you know, your sperm’s worth about 400 rupees here in India. Ever check the price of a pack of Whisper? Yeah, its 400 rupees and whisper is more expensive!”
The Reason behind my Virginity is that - Iam not Desperate for Wealth or Sex.
Honestly, the only thing I’m interested in carrying around right now is my iced coffee. Thanks, but I’ll save the birthing for a time when the perks include more than just “diapers and daycare bills.” 😂
On the other hand - A woman can totally treat love-making like ordering a pizza—sometimes, it’s just about satisfying a craving without getting all emotional about it. It’s like, “Thanks for the fun, but no heart toppings on this one, please! Ever seen a divorced woman whose skin looks like it’s been through a tornado (storm), yet she’s showering her kids with love? It’s like, “Yeah, I love you, but how do I love a kid whose father I married just for that sweet U.S. job or for his bank balance or for my own better career?” 😂 It’s like getting attached to that free T-shirt that came with a gym membership you never wanted.
If you are here ; All that i have to say is LOVE YOUR KIDS !
Hips is the symbol of Feminine Energy and Vigor ; Shakira exhorts listeners to EMBRACE their Natural Instincts even if it means defying social expectations. Sure, some women might treat love-making like ordering a pizza—just satisfying the craving, no strings attached. But as for me? I’m all about honouring my natural tendencies and keeping things real!
One thing is for sure: I've never pushed myself into a relationship with any man. I don’t crave just for the sake of it.
Looking forward to the Interaction.
