"Hips Dont Lie" is one of my favourited Latin pop with a mix of Rap/Hip-Hop !

This song appears to convey a defiant attitude towards societal perceptions and expectations regarding the desire to have children, particularly from a woman's perspective. Lets break it down !

When the black were deprived of their humanity and robbed of their SELF-RESPECT due to their poor economic status ; that is when they claim to have invented HIP-HOP. Rap is the primary Ingredient of Hip-Hop ! Hip-Hop was used as a tool to fight OPPRESSION !

Only a few white upper-class women desire to have a child from a  Black Man  of lower socio-economic background ; and vice versa. The essence of "Hips Dont Lie" is challenging and BREAKING THE BIAS.

Hips is the symbol of Feminine Energy and Vigor ; Shakira exhorts listeners to EMBRACE their Natural Instincts even if it means defying social expectations. 

When Shakira expresses  MY HIPS DONT LIE - It can be interpreted as the idea that a woman's hips have the ability to reveal the DEPTH OF LOVE she has for the MAN !

Her facial expressions can be a LIE ; Her Spoken words can be a LIE but her HIPS Never LIE.

Singer asserts her OWN TRUTH ! This Singer express her PERSONAL BELIEFS on the matter ; asserting her perspective against SOCIETAL NORMS.

The reference to MY HIPS DONT LIE may suggest a Physical and Instinctual desire for a baby that cannot be denied or suppressed. Overall the song seems to reflect a strong assertion to INDIVIDUAL AUTHENTICITY in the face of societal pressures.
