Earlier i had shared the tale of a demon by name Mahishasura, today i would like to shed light on the the story of the demoness - MAHISHI !
MAHISHI is about a Woman , the story revolves around a woman who takes pride in seeing men getting excited seeing her BODY - The primary focus of the woman is her BODY and she believes that the POWER of a woman is in the BIOLOGICAL FEATURES of a woman - particularly her breasts.
This woman believes that - Bragging about your TITS AND BUTT will help you RESOLVE ANY CONFLICTS.
Mahishi the sister of Mahishasura, held a strong belief in the importance of woman's beauty in the process of CHILD BIRTH, highlighting the significance of BEAUTY in THE CREATION OF NEW LIFE.

After Lord Ayappa defeated Mahishi - A Temple was established for Mahishi on Sabarimala Hill and every Kanya (Non Menstruating girl) who is on the Tat-Tvam-Asi Journey is required to visit this Temple and offer a wooden arrow to Mahishi before ascending 18 steps.
Lord Ayappa informed Mahishi that on the day there is AN ABSENCE OF KANYA on Sabarimala Hill, the lord would accept that when a women makes sexual advances men are willing participants.
That day will never arrive !
Just like how WOMAN's choice needs to be respected by men ; a MAN's choice also needs to be respected by women. Lord Ayappa made a choice to commit to Celibacy and menstruating women must RESPECT HIS CHOICE.
Personally iam not against menstruating women from undertaking the sabarimala trek and experiencing Tat-Tvam-Asi Journey as long as they understand that :
