What is the meaning of - ADOPT THE MASCULINE ROLE OF A MAN.

Accept the gender roles like BUYING A PROPERTY or BECOME EQUAL TO THE MAN IN YOUR CAREER. POSSIBLE ?. I have noticed that woman who are not able to BECOME EQUAL TO A MAN are the ones who are FAKING it by adopting the masculine nature of a man.
