Privilege vs Right !

Today iam going to share with you the battle that happened between 2 women.
One women fought for SYMPATHY (PRIVILEGE) and the other women fought for SELF-RESPECT (RIGHT).

Yesterday was MGR's death Anniversary ! MGR was the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
People who went to pay homage to MGR also visited Jayalalithaa's (former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu) memorial because both MGR and Jayalalithaa are buried in the same place !

Both MGR and Jayalalithaa started their career in films and remained an ICONIC PAIR in Tamil Cinemas. Over a period of time MGR moved into Politics ; and under MGR's mentorship Jaya moved into Politics.MGR was perhaps having an Extra Marital Affair with Jaya.

On 24th December 1987 MGR Passed away.
Jaya  boarded the gun carriage as she wanted to place a wreath on his body  and accompany the funeral procession ; however  Janaki Ramachandran (MGR's wife)  along with her relatives stamped her feet ; driving their nails onto her skin ; pinching her and they pushed her out of the funeral vehicle ; accused her calling her a prostitute. Against her conscience Jaya stayed away from the funeral.

Soon after the death of MGR Janaki Ramachandran became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for 23 days. Now the battle begins :
MGR Ramachandran's party splits into two parties ; One headed by Janaki Ramachandran (MGR's wife) and another headed by Jayalalithaa.
Once it happened the 2 factions met on the Road leading to an ALMOST CLASH and Janaki calling Jayalalithaa a Prostitute Multiple times. Police persuaded the group to disperse.

Janaki was seeking SYMPATHY VOTES on the grounds that ; "She was a woman whose husband had an extramarital affair with another woman". She made people believe that SHE WAS PRIVILEGED TO BECOME CHIEF MINISTER OF TAMIL NADU.

Jayalalithaa was not fighting for position ; All that Jaya wanted was - "A right to take part in the ELECTION CONTEST". It was not a battle for privilege it was a battle for SELF-RESPECT.

I dont have to say WHO WON !
Watch the Movie !

I watch very few Tamil Cinema in general nor iam a fan of Jaya ; But this movie will educate you about INCLUSION !
One women who was being cheated by her husband was seeking PRIVILEGE ; and another women seeking SELF-RESPECT !
This time Tamil Nadu has proved that -
