The Ultimate Inner Balance !

Earlier i had informed you all that ; "Both Masculine and Feminine Energies are present within each one of us irrespective of our Gender" ;

Masculine Energy = PERFECTION = Nature = Genuine Positive Human Behavior = Action in Pursuit of Wealth / Sex / Power.

Feminine Energy = IMPERFECTION = Forces of Nature = Genuine Negative Human Behavior = GRACE = WISDOM.

Balance of Masculine and Feminine Energies creates an ULTIMATE INNER BALANCE !

All of us are in search of that OTHER HALF - ULTIMATE INNER BALANCE.

We SEEK what is WITHIN.

Tat-Tvam-Asi = You are that which you SEEK.

If you achieve INNER BALANCE then OUTSIDE BALANCE will happen by your CHOICE !

If you do not achieve INNER BALANCE ; YOU GO AGAINST THE FORCE OF NATURE CALLED IMPERFECTION and the OUTSIDE BALANCE will be a COMPULSION !

What is the meaning of OUTSIDE BALANCE happens by COMPULSION ?

COMPULSION = FIT INTO THE NORMAL CURVE.

Ex : Chasing PERFECTION has created a MEDIOCRE SOCIETY in USA ;

Success = Fit into NORMAL CURVE = Accept the SUB-STANDARD.

American Culture is SET UP to CELEBRATE A MASCULINE WAY OF LIFE - PRODUCTIVITY ; ACHIEVEMENT AND ACTION.

Women are conditioned to do life from a MASCULINE FOCUS. Women chose their life partners by FITTING INTO NORMAL CURVE. Outside BALANCE happens by COMPULSION.

Can you RELATE ? Are you one of THEM ?

As per Natya Veda - The Fifth Veda ;

Tandavam = Masculine Energy = ACTIONS = The entire Body is turned into a MANDALA and straight line movements are made across 8 Directions of the Universe.

Sitting Mandala Pose also called Brahmacharya Pose maintained by Lord Ayappa at Sabarimala Temple.

While you are in Pursuit of Power / Wealth you still maintain Celibacy (Dont sell SELF-RESPECT).

Brahmacharya is a Masculine Energy present within me.

It doesn't matter how hard your life is ; was ; will be - DONT JUST GIVE UP !

Lasyam = Feminine Energy = The center of the Body (Navel) should be aligned to Earth's Gravitational Force. "One should always be GROUNDED".

Lasyam = GRACE = WISDOM

GRACEFULNESS = EXPRESSING GRATITUDE ; LOVE AND RESPECT for others ; Simple yet Effective Thought.

Expression of Navarasam is Feminine Energy.

Natya Veda = Tandavam + Lasyam (Applicable to an individual self or between 2 people).

Ardhanareshwara concept as per Natya Veda :

"The concept is about the TWIRL between the MASCULINE AND FEMININE. ENERGIES WITHIN ONESELF".

Tandavam = "While Shiva's Blazing Eyes are filled with 1000 IMAGES and while his matted hairlocks are tossing around up and Down;

Lasyam = Goddess Uma within Lord Shiva is the picture of Composure. Uma's Anklets and Ornaments does not Move and her Breast does not Heave."

This is the first Shlokam in Natya Veda that is offered to Goddess Bhoomi Devi.

This is a Shlokam to seek UNCONDITIONAL FORGIVENESS from Goddess Bhoomi Devi for stamping on her with your FEET.

This is a Shlokam to EXPRESS GRATITUDE AND RESPECT to Goddess Bhoomi Devi.

Metaphorically it means - All Actions you make (In Pursuit of Perfection) is done by stamping on Mother Earth ; hence you express Gratitude towards Mother Earth.

The first step towards Nurturing Feminine Energy within oneself is by expressing GRATITUDE towards Mother Earth.

"Samudravasanae Devii Parvathasthana Mandalae ;

Natyam Karishyae Bhoodevii Padaakhatham Shamaswamae".

Samudravasanae Devii = The Goddess Bhoomi Devi who drapes sea as her costume ;
Parvathasthana Mandalae = Having mountains as her bosom ;
Natyam Karishyae Bhoodevii Padaakhatham Shamaswamae = I ask your forgiveness for stamping on your Holy and Sacred body with my feet".

The above Shlokam is enacted very gracefully in the song. This song is a feast to the Eyes and Ears and I have never seen Girish Karnad being so GRACEFUL.
