Sanskrit is a Phonetic based coded scripts that is very scientific by nature.
I am going to share my experience with you.
Last week i was trying to understand and decode the meaning of the Sanskrit Keerthanam "Manasa Sancharare" written by Sadasiva Brahmendra.
KAPOLA is a Sanskrit word and some saints have used the word KAPOLA to explain Cheeks while a few others have used the word KAPOLA for MIRROR and i was confused.
Similarly some saints have used the word CHIKURE to explain HAIR and some have used the same word to represent PEACOCK FEATHERS.
I traced KAPOLA to its ROOT FORM.
KAPOLA means SMOOTH SURFACE and hence one can use the word KAPOLA for cheeks or mirror or to explain anything that has smooth surface.
Most of the words in Sanskrit can be used with multiple meanings.
What do you perceive from the below picture?
In English this is called as - ICE CUBES.
However there is no such word in Sanskrit for ICE CUBE.
SEEK THE MEANING!
The advantage of analyzing a word from the technical perspective and from the point of view of one etymology ; can help one gain access to the REALITIES that were till then hidden - that means one gains knowledge of the unknown through the known.
PERCEPTION is the highest form of INTELLIGENCE as per the VEDAS.
Sanskrit is the language of ESSENCE.
After learning a little bit of Sanskrit in school i proceeded to gain Level 1 Knowledge in Sanskrit in 2019. This is because - I had to read Natya Veda for my Bharatanataym Theory exams, the original version of which is in Sanskrit ; I knew that translated versions will give me wrong knowledge.
In addition Sanskrit has the power to say a sentence with MINIMUM WORDS.
"Kapola Vijita Mukure" is one of the line of the Keerthanam means -
"The cheeks of the Brahman is brighter than the Mirror" ;
There is knowledge beyond words -
"The Mirror will only show you who you are from outside but a Brahman can tell you who you are inside out".
