BHARATANATYAM RASA YOGA - PART 1

Welcome back!
Wishing you all a very Happy and Healthy New Year  -  2021.
As promised, today iam going to introduce you all to Rasa Yoga.
Since Rasa Yoga is a very big topic probably i will share it with you in parts.

Lets start with Introduction to Rasa Yoga.
Indian Culture claims that Natyaveda is a concise instruction setting forth all the events of the world.
Navarasa (the 9 emotions) as explained in Natya Veda – covers all emotional expressions of the world.

The idea is that if you dont fully EXPRESS yourself you will go into DEPRESSION.

Man today is seen chasing after only 2 Emotions: HAPPINESS and PEACE and he is AVOIDING all the other EMOTIONS/EXPRESSIONS. This is a very dangerous situation. This may lead to many more suicides and murders promoting corruption and crime in the world.

Emotions occur at an excited state of the mind and anything that's at an excited state comes back to ground state / equilibrium level. This is also applicable to happiness and peace - Yet man is chasing after this temporary peace and happiness.

Today iam going to show you Nava Asana – The 9 Yoga Poses which can help you EXPRESS all the 9 emotions and arrive at EQUILIBRIUM LEVEL with ease.

The equilibrium level is called BLISS.

These Yoga Asana will help you arrive at EQUILIBRIUM LEVEL – BLISS from that excited state without much difficulty.
Don’t be afraid of fully expressing yourself.

The PURPOSE of life is to FULLY EXPRESS ALL EMOTIONS only then you will arrive at EQUILIBRIUM LEVEL.

Today iam going to introduce you to one of the most important EMOTION - ADBHUTAM.

ADBHUTAM means WONDER or AMAZEMENT.

As per Natya Veda the feeling of Adbhutam comes only when we recognize our own ignorance and stupidity.
Without WONDER you cannot EVOLVE.
Adbhutam means - you wonder and understand that there are things YOU CANT UNDERSTAND.

The Dragon Pose can help you experience Adbhutam.
The Dragon Pose is called as Anjaneyasana.

DRAGON POSE is also called as SURYA NAMASKAR POSE.
There are many variations of Dragon pose that are used in Surya Namaskar.
