A Metaphor for the modern women!

Goddess Durga is a possible promise of LIBERATION TO ALL WOMEN.
This Goddess represents the power of the Supreme Being that preserves moral order and righteousness in the universe.

In the whole world it is only India which celebrates the value of women as givers and preservers of life.

Today let’s explore the consciousness around Goddess Shakti.
Shakti means POWER in Hindu Philosophy.
She is the female principle who provides POWER and PROTECTION.
Navaratri  holds the promise of celebrating the feminine Goddess Shakti who is the epitome of femininity and by extension it is the celebration of all women around us.

Mahishasura Mardini is one of the important form of Goddess Shakti.
Mahishasura Mardini defeated the demon king Mahishasura.

This event should not just be an inspiration but also a metaphor for the modern women.

Let’s explore the METAPHOR that exist here for the modern women and also men. 

Mahishasura represents the evil forces such as selfishness, jealousy, prejudice, hatred, anger and ego that exist within us.

Not just that,

Mahisha means - “The power of a Buffalo”.
Mahishasura Mardini means - The one who killed “The power of a Buffalo”.
A female who has not found her own INNER FEMININE POWER, the one who believes that MUSCULINE is the only way to become successful and the one who derives POWER from a Man or a Man’s Ass  -  This derived power that exist in the mind of a woman is called BUFFALO POWER. Typically called as ASS KISSING in corporate world.
 
This is called as Inner Mahisha that exist inside the mind of women due to which she is unable to exploit her FEMININE.

A woman has to kill this Inside Buffalo power that exist in her mind, only then she can grow her feminine power. It doesn’t matter if you are a housewife or a career women.

The Aura and the personality of the Goddess offer us with some of profound life lessons that hold a wealth of meaning weather you are a housewife or a corporate women or both.

 

A lot of women are supressing their feminity in Corporate world.
These so called WOMEN LEADERS have decided to give up on their femininity and are sucking the Ass of their Male Boss to become successful in career. 

Laughing at an unfunny Joke.
For such women SURVIVAL means the “POSITION OF A DIRECTOR”.
For such women SURVIVAL means “BMW” .
For such women SURVIVAL means “MERCEDES”.
In such a scenario the entire system is filled with MASCULINE ENERGY ALONE.

If this continues there will be no ROOM for the FEMININE POWER in the society.

Demons are not merely within us in the form of Mahisha but outside as well.
There are men for whom power and protection is a unique selling point.

Have you seen the recent Tanishq advertisement featuring an Interfaith baby shower which has been boycotted.

The Muslim mother in law was seen doing a FAVOUR to her Hindu Daughter in Law.

Please understand that RELATIONSHIPS cannot be built on FAVOURS - at home, or in school or in office or religion for that matter.

Every woman needs to find her own Durga in order to survive in this evil world and emerge as a winner.

Look at this advertisement.

The little boy is helping someone without letting her know that he was actually supporting her.

And then we have managers in the corporate world who want to perform their DUTIES in the form of FAVOUR.

The example set by the Goddess Durga of not feeling inferior at any cost needs to be understood in the present day by all women.

Same holds good for RELIGION.

As a Hindu you should accept Muslim culture and not do it as if you are doing a FAVOUR to Muslims and vice versa. RELATIONSHIPS cannot be BUILT on FAVOURS.

Some people claim that Durga is far from feminine. She rides a lion or a tiger, both ferocious animals on which she has total control, again a shade far from feminine and most significantly, seldom depicted along with a male consort.
IT’S A WRONG PERCEPTION.
The Goddess is not killing the MALE POWER.  
The Goddess is seen killing the INNER MUSCULINE POWER that exist within you-BUFFALO POWER and she is sending a message that only by killing this BUFFALO POWER you as a women can exploit all your FEMININE QUALITIES and ENERGIES.

 

She is not seen with her Consort.

Lord Shiva denied supporting Goddess Shakti from the demons, because he wanted the Goddess to exploit her full feminine potential and kill the demons by herself and become SELF-MADE.

This is the culture of India – and today we have managers in the corporate world who-- 

Sign the business travel bills as if they are doing a favour to you,

Sign the telephone expenses which is a part of your salary as if they are doing a favour to you,

If you are already SELF-MADE they will put you on BENCH so that you go after them to lick their  BUFFALO POWER.

We don’t know how patriarchy came into the Indian system - it does not exist in the VEDA. 

Mahishasura Mardini has set the standard for each and every woman in India.
Unless you find your Inner Durga you cannot exploit and rejoice the feminine that is inside you.
Whether you are a housewife or a career women or both - Be self-made.

Lord Shiva is the Adi-Yogi, nobody is more powerful than him - he alone has the capacity to encourage a women to exploit her FULL POTENTIAL, the rest are interested in providing Favours and Protection to women in exchange of FILL UP THE BLANKS.
