The Point where the object of Perception meets the object of Reality!

It’s about 2.0 years that I started reading Natya Veda.
As explained earlier when the world was deluded by jealousy, materialism, desire for wealth, women, sex, weal and woe and when people did not have enough capabilities to understand the first 4 Vedas, Lord Brahma created the 5th Veda called Natya Veda - the purpose of which is to uplift mankind and human race.

Today we will explore Vedanta.
Vedanta means “The end of the Vedas” – it is the point where the object of PERCEPTION intersects with the object of REALITY.

Earlier we saw that Imagination is  higher than Intelligence.

As per the Vedas PERCEPTION is higher and above IMAGINATION.
Perception is called PRATYAKSHA in Sanskrit; it means that which is present before the eyes clear, distinct and evident.

You will be able to see things / perceive objects clearly only when you are free from MAYA (Materialism).

What do you perceive here?

If you see WATER  then you are right! Congratulations.

What do you perceive here?

If you perceive this as Water Vapour - Then you are WRONG!
This is water. Evaporation turns liquid water into a gas called water vapour

What do you perceive here?

If you perceive  this as Cloud - Then you are WRONG!
This is water.
This is water which took the shape of the  cloud.
Water vapour gets into air mainly by evaporation – some of the liquid water from the ocean, lakes, and rivers turns into water vapour and travels in the air. When air rises in the atmosphere it gets cooler and is under less pressure. The water vapour becomes small waterdroplets or ice crystals and a cloud is formed.

What do you perceive here?

If you perceive  this as Snow - Then you are WRONG!
This is water.
The water starting out at roughly 212 F (100 C) instantly turns to snow.

What do you perceive here?

If you perceive  this as Ice - Then you are WRONG!
This is water.
When the water temperature reaches around 0°C, the molecules stick together and form a solid – Ice.

In all the above images – The Essence is water.
The essence manifested in many forms through the unique power called Maya.

Maya is the creative force that creates universe of forms, shapes, size and colours.
Vedanta emphasizes that Essence is REALITY and all other shapes are just forms and is sense illusory influenced by Maya.

Their object of Perception is different from the object of Reality; this is because they are influenced by MAYA – ILLUSION.

The illusory quality is caused by the limitation of our sense organs which tend to be uni-dimensional. Based on such limited perception we subject our mind to various kinds of delusions.
This is DUALITY : Object of PERCEPTION is different from Object of REALITY.

Vedanta is about NON-DUALITY, it is called ADVAITAM.

And then we try to prove that our limited perception  which is influenced by Maya is the REALITY and spend all our money and wealth into it , destroy your own happiness and also destroy other's happiness and peace.
Then another joke is that ILLUSION helps them give a shape to their limited perception -
LOL. This world is so funny, i cant stop LAUGHING.
Jokes apart - Imagine how  cruel you are to this world and how much depression and hurt  you are manufacturing and producing and supplying into the world destroying everybody's peace and happiness.

Vedanta means the deepest part of the self of our being is one with the essence of the world. Vedanta means the subtle aspect – soul is but a spark of the Divine.
Vedanta transcends the cognitive approach to understanding the world and reality.
Vedanta was taught to Saint Adishankaracharya by Lord Shiva Himself.

The  famous saint from Kerala - "Adi Shankara" was in Kashi and one day he was walking down the street in Kashi.
There came a man who was in-charge of burning the bodies in the cremation grounds, he was Lord Shiva himself.
Saint Adi Shankara asked him rudely to - MOVE AWAY , MOVE AWAY , MOVE AWAY.
Then the man asked Adi Shankara -
"You seem to be teaching Non-Dualism to everyone"
"Who are you asking to MOVE AWAY?"
You are asking my Body which will be burnt one day to move away? (or)
You are asking the very essence the soul the burning fire inside my body that is keeping me alive to move away?

This is how Adi Shankara learnt Advaita Vedantam. A short video to get a glimpse of this event.
There are many videos of this event  in Sanksrit, Malayalam and Telugu.
This one is more suitable for present generation.

This message that is repeatedly emphasized in the Upanishads  "Aham Brahma Asmi"  means -
"I can become a Brahman only if i awaken myself from the limited sense of PERCEPTION"
The ultimate reality is only one; all the duality and multiplicity is illusion.
Duality will continue to exist until the time the object of perception is not equal to object of reality.

How to improve your PERCEPTION?
We read and write to improve our intellectual capabilities.
We draw/sketch and be creative to improve our imaginative capabilities.

To improve our perceptual capabilities we need to ARGUE.
ARGUMENTATION is the only way using which you could improve your perceptual capabilities.
Argumentation can bring your object of perception close to the object of reality.

Adi shankara spent all his ARGUING , ARGUING , ARGUING , ARGUING , ARGUING , ARGUING , ARGUING , ARGUING , ARGUING , ARGUING , ARGUING , ARGUING
and helping people understand NON-DUALISM.
Argumentation skills belong among the essential 21st century cognitive skills.

Vedanta or the end of Vedas means INTERSECTION of  the object of perception with the object of reality.
Perception is called PRATYAKSHA in Sanskrit; it means that which is present before the eyes clear, distinct and evident. NON-DUALISM.

Here is  the BEST of all ARGUMENTS-DEBATE of Adi Shankara.
This debate happened with Mandana Mishra.
Take a look.

And when perception meets reality the next time, your new reality will be right where you think it is.
Until then keep accumulating Negative Karma.
