Be the change!

After Gaining independence in 1947, India adopted a democratic form of governance.
India is world’s biggest democratic country.
Democracy means “government of the people, for the people and by the people”
Preamble to the Constitution of India states -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preamble_to_the_Constitution_of_India

“WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN  SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens
JUSTICE, social, economic and political;
LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;
EQUALITY of status and of opportunity; and to promote among them all
FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation;

IN OUR CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY this  26th day of November, 1949, do HEREBY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION”

Liberty meaning:  Liberty establishes that there are no unreasonable restrictions on Indian citizens in terms of what they think, their manner of expressions and the way they wish to follow up their thoughts in action.

The first condition to Liberty is – “Right to Freedom of speech and expression”, the right which iam utilizing now lol...Right to freedom of speech and expression stands first in the hierarchy of liberty.

Freedom of speech and expression is the ability - “to be able to speak and express freely without fear”
Freedom of Speech and expression means the right to express one’s own convictions and opinions freely by word of mouth, writing, printing, pictures or any other mode.

Article 19 of the Constitution of India guarantees to all its citizens the right to freedom of speech and expression.

Speech is God’s gift to mankind. Through speech a human being conveys his thoughts, sentiments and feeling to others, hence freedom of speech and expression is the natural birth right of every individual.

But how many of us are using these rights?

Let’s take some examples which is causing hindrance to exercising -“right to freedom of speech and expression”

     1. A friend telephones you and ask you for some money in cash, you meet him and offer him money but on the next day your friend claims he did not have any such discussions with you? You feel powerless – you don’t have data to prove your innocence!
2.Your business partner wrote an email to you about sharing business profits and then email is deleted. You feel powerless – you don’t have data to prove your innocence!
3.You complained about your manager to HR and HR tells you over phone that iam changing your functional area because you complained about your manager, later he says I did not convey any such things. You feel powerless – you don’t have data to prove your innocence!
     4. As one of my elder sister is a stock market financial advisor - she is the one who is using these rights most often ,  client tell her orally over telephone to sell stock at  a particular time and then post stock trade - when there are low profits , financial advisor is criticized for selling less? You feel powerless – you don’t have data to prove your innocence!

From the above examples it is very clear that there is a limitation on the exercise of the right to freedom of speech and expression

As seen above - "Loss of Information" is causing the hindrance to right to freedom of speech and expressions.

If any such thing has happened with you - DONT WORRY!
THERE IS A GOOD NEWS OUT THERE , WHICH HAS BEEN THERE FOR QUIET SOMETIME BUT NOT MANY ARE AWARE OF IT!
Now you can get that LOST INFORMATION ,

Constitution of India in order to help the people of India exercise  - Right To freedom of speech and expression has enacted another law – Right to Information act 2005.
According to his law, government of India is obliged to provide you with the conversation you had with friend, colleague, business partner or client.
So now you can COLLECT THE LOST INFORMATION with the help of Right to Information Act 2005.That is to say, it assists in the discovery of truth.

The Right to Information Act was passed in India by Parliament on 15 June 2005 and it came into force on 15 October 2005.
The RTI has made information accessible to the public which they were earlier deprived off.
Transparency is an important discipline in governance.
Right to Information is the backbone of Indian democracy.

If your client told you over telephone - to sell your stock and later argues that he did not say any such thing – make an RTI Appeal to the government of India.
If you are denied with Information don’t fight with your friends, HR, peer or client
Simply pressurize the government of India to provide you with the data – iam sure the population of India will take your side.
Explain the government that lack of information is effecting your
1.Right to work
2.Right to freedom of speech and expression
3.Right to life
4.Right to liberty
Imagine you have 1.37 billion people on your side
Yes 1.37 billion people who are reading my post are already on MY side

You might have heard of this story, but I don’t mind reminding you of the same
Let’s discover – “The story of being the change!”
Adapted from the STAR THROWER

Once upon a time, there was an old man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing.
Early one morning, he was walking along the shore after a big storm had passed and found the vast beach littered with starfish

Off in the distance, the old man noticed a small boy approaching.  As the boy walked, he paused every so often and as he grew closer, the man could see that he was occasionally bending down to pick up an object and throw it into the sea.  The boy came closer still and the man called out, “Good morning!  May I ask what it is that you are doing?”

The young boy paused, looked up, and replied “Throwing starfish into the ocean. The tide has washed them up onto the beach and they can’t return to the sea by themselves,” the youth replied. “When the sun gets high, they will die, unless I throw them back into the water.”

The old man replied, “But there must be tens of thousands of starfish on this beach. I’m afraid you won’t really be able to make much of a difference.”

The boy bent down, picked up yet another starfish and threw it as far as he could into the ocean. Then he turned, smiled and said, “It made a difference to that one!”

Thought of the day: We all have the opportunity to help create positive change,
If people don’t know what your worth is, you should not only make them understand what your worth is, you should also make them pay you your NETWORTH
The little boy teaches us that“we should never leave HOPE”

I might not be able to influence 1.37 Billion people (population of India) but iam sure i have influenced at-least one of them among the ones who are reading my post

Lets prove that the below quote is FALSE
We the citizens of India are INTELLIGENT and we know how to solve our problems analytically and intelligently.
