Today We will explore Murudeshwara and Udupi Krishna temple today !

Just before entering the spiritual area, suddenly i happen to see "Gokarna" written on the sign board and i took my I-Phone to check the time.
Yes 11:11 shows up in my life consistently at every special/odd moments , when iam sick on bed with high fever, or when iam upset , or when i need answers , 11:11 shows up!
Seeing 11:11 everywhere is a magic!
11:11 is an auspicious sign with mystical powers.
Truth is limitless , but lies and cheat has its own limits!
11:11 on Day 1 means everything in my life at present is in perfect alignment as per the rules of the universe.
11:11 means nothing to worry and the entire universe is on my side and iam not alone!
According to Numerology : Seeing 11:11 consistently means you are in the right direction and life is in perfect alignment with the universe!

The story goes like this!
Mythology says that anybody who worships Atma-Linga (Atma Linga is the soul of Lord Shiva) will attain immortality.
Ravana as seen below worshiped Lord Shiva to acquire Immortality by getting Atma - Linga.
Finally Lord Shiva heard his prayers and he appeared before Ravana and Ravana asked Lord Shiva for "Atma - Linga "
Lord Shiva agrees to give him the Boon on the condition that he will never keep the Atma - Linga on the ground.
Having obtained the Boon Ravana starts his journey to Sri-Lanka.
On the way to Srilanka - Lord Ganesha tricks Ravana and takes away the "Atma linga" from Ravana and he then keeps the "Atma Linga" on the ground near Gokarna.
Ravana got angry seeing this!
Ravana realizing that he had been tricked by Lord Ganesha, he tried to destroy Atma-Linga and with his force , the pieces of Atma Linga were scattered across places seen below in the picture .
Murudeshwara is one such sacred spiritual place !

Now lets explore Udupi Krishna - "A window darshan , what a sight it is"

Photography is not allowed inside the temple!
The temple was established by a vaishnava saint by name Shri Madhvacharya in 13th century
Unlike all hindu temples , you get a sight of Lord Krishna through the window - A window darshan!
A captivating sight it is, a window darshan of Udupi Krishna!
The deity cannot be seen from the east front entrance , but from the west through a window!
When Bhakta Kanakadasa https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanaka_Dasa a poet who was an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna came to the temple, people did not allow him to enter the temple because he was from lower caste . Kanakadasa stood on the backside of the temple on the west and began to sing poems praising Lord Krishna!
Lord could not resist taking a look at his devotee and he turned his face towards the window facing west . Devotees can see Lord Krishna only through window!
This reminds us of Bhagavadgita - 18 : 41
O Arjuna the activities of Brahmana , Kshatriyas , Vaishyas and Sudras are clearly divided according to the qualities born out of their nature and not by BIRTH.
1. Sudras - The ones who have no wisdom and knowledge.
2. Vaishyas - The ones who are selfish.
3. Kshatriyas - The ones who fight for truth .
4. Brahman - Ultimate Reality.
So who is a brahman? a male or female - we will explore this in my next post!
So what is your caste as per Chaturvarna in Bhagavadgita ?
Entrance of Udupi Krishna temple reminds us of Chaturvarna - Caste system should be born out of qualities and character of people!
