Lord Rama set the best example that materialistic pleasures have no value in one's life
Lord Rama was born to king Dasharatha , when Dasharatha wanted to crown Rama as the King of Ayodhya , Rama's step mother objected to this as she wanted her son Bharatha to succeed Dasharatha and
demands Rama to be exiled into the forest for 14 years
Rama did not demand his rights as rightful heir neither he saw himself as a helpless victim
Rama chose to sacrifice his rights ,he gave up the crown and decided to move to forest and
live in the forest for 14 years .
