This Sunday ,I continued to pursuit my favourite trees and flowers in Namma Bengaluru
At Cubbon Park..
The bright pink flowers bloom just around Christmas , and currently are on show.
For those of you who love nature , dont miss the beauty blooms .
I tried best to look British .Well , the history of Tabebuia started during the British Era
A German Botanist by name Gustav Hermann Krumbeigal designed Lalbagh Botanical Garden on the lines of London Crystal Palace while Cubbon park for Gustav was an experimental Botanical Lab experimenting with trees that were imported from outside India
Like most of the Bangaloreans even i take pride of serial blossoming of flowers in Bengaluru ,
In the golden sunshine....
At Cubbon Park
And i love flowers .
Gustav Hermann Krumbeigal's concept of serial blossoming ensured that Bengaluru is in full bloom with at least one variety of flower every season..
My favorite from the sets , because it has Sky ,pink and the white.
A combination that blew my mind...
A cool breeze from the gentle sway of the trees,
The best collection of Tabebuia is at Vidhana Soudha facing Public Library.a few yards away from the High Court of Karnataka
Happiness all around Bengaluru , Sakura - cherry blossoms of Bengaluru
Yes ,we are still the garden city,confused which one to click but that did not stop me from clicking,
Gustav Hermann Krumbeigal inherited the legacy of British in Bangalore .
Today Cubbon Park occupies 300 acres of land, presently the department of Horticulture maintains the park
It was raining purple and pink and i also decided to wear a pink dress lol..
My mother on the left and my neighbour and driver on the right ..

A sight to behold..a certain aura of divinity around these trees
Yes , these trees were brought into the city by the Britishers in 1900.

I immersed myself into the purple

Purple and pink note is found in the residential localities and also on the main road and streets of Bangalore .
whenever and wherever i see them there is burst of happiness inside my heart.
