That stage is called as "Yagura" its the bandstand of musicians , dancers and singers
It was so much fun!

Cele-berating my life !
This will be my fond memory
What to wear: Traditionally a yukata , but you can wear anything but dont leave your top , bottom or middle part of the body uncovered as said by the Japanese elders - This dance is for ancestors.so you should be dressed fully! Does that make sense!
Jokes apart-i did not find time to buy a Yukata i was pretty busy the whole of last week and had to pull put a top and a 3/4th to make it -
Compared to western or Indian Dance , the dance is very slow but its wonderful as a group and not individually.
Bon-Odori is a group dance
The colour combinations of Yukata ,
the bright lanterns
and the beautiful women
Bon dance is a beautiful group folk dance in Japan.
lanterns making the atmosphere even more colourful
This dance is called as Tanko Bushi - the coal mining song.
May be the Japanese ancestors were coal miners.
look the circular motions of the group as mentioned earlier Bon Dance is a beautiful group dance if performed individually will never be attractive and pleasant, neither will you enjoy if performed individually.
The circular motions- clockwise and then anti clockwise.
Its a very traditional japanese folk dance and its all about hand movement.
Lanterns.
I love lanterns.
Taiko Drumming!
I know that i did not practice the dance moves properly before the event ..
but you can jump in and dance without lessons .
Jump in and Dance!
It was fun!
No practice and no lessons this time!
Well this was a good practice before moving to stage!
I love to perform this dance on the sand in Hawaii someday!
No harm is making a dream!
Our group!
