"Kathakali " The traditional dance drama of my native place
Kathakali means "story play "it uses literature, music, painting ,acting and dance art forms together in one play
Hands and facial expressions narrate the story.
Background music is simple it has only 2 drums
Its usually takes 5-6 hours to put on the make up
Green face represents a good guy and red face represent a bad guy
If you notice his eyes they are red in colour and they put red flowers inside the eyes to make it look red.
Eye make up is the most important in the drama
The mesmerizing colour and the facial expressions can give you a wonderful experience
A theater of Imagination and creativity i love drama!
At the end there is a victory of Good Over Evil! The only thing i learnt whenever i saw this !
The only thing i love about this drama is victory of Good over Evil! It gives me hope to always follow the right path and truth in life!
But today i decided to write about it because i enjoyed it in a foreign country!
