…just an exercise to make sure you gather enough energy to read the post about cheerful monkeys.

Iwatayama Monkey Park is  a lame tourist attraction suggested by one of my seniors in my office while I was planning for a trip to Kyoto, but one should love animals to get ready for a Hike…since iam an animal lover and I desperately wanted to see the Monkeys -  so I had put it in in my list

Located at the base of Arashiyama Mountains in Kyoto , there is a small hill and straight up the hill after a 30 minute  hike you  get a glance of the Monkeys…on the top you can see 100 ‘s of monkeys roaming around freely .

At the entrance of the hill.

I did not have to drag anyone with me to this lame tourist spot where I desperately wanted to go as I was traveling alone , one of the beauty about  traveling alone is that you have got the freedom to do what you like and go to a place you like…be it Monkeys….and then the crazy thing about staring at the Monkeys.

Started my Trial at around 10 am in the Morning it was my 4th and last day in Kyoto and i had to get back to  Tokyo by next morning for my work... it was cloudy and I was afraid what if it rains , monkey park will be closed if it rains or snows . There were many signs of cheerful monkeys with signs” don’t feed the monkeys and don’t stare at them and don’t look into the eyes of the Monkeys”

Why are we not suppose to stare at a Monkey and look into the eyes? What the hell will happen if you stare at them......

On the Way up.
As then i finally made my way to the top of the mountain. I saw many Monkeys. I felt happy!

A cabin at the top of the hill from where you can buy snacks for Monkeys..
Do you love feeding Monkeys? Yes i do..

Feeding the Monkeys....

And then the most romantic climax...dont look into my eyes ..didn't you read the sign board...??
Oh Boy ..You so sexy..its worth a while looking into your eyes and staring at you ...i just stop myself
"Your red face  give me a chance to hold my breath..how can i not stare at you.....????
I took special care to try not to look into the beautiful eyes of the Monkey..but you would not be surprised how hard it is...
One of those monkeys i wasn't supposed to look into the eye...
And you know what happened?

He moved off the path as if it was no big deal.

Mamma ..Pls help me.....

Up the hill -160 meters above sea level - you can get a glimpse of Kyoto..

Mount Arashiyama is across the Oi river which offers Pleasure Boat Rides

Yes i love Japan and the people
