Guruvayoor Thrissur

Jokes apart being a strong devotee of Vishnu, this is the temple which I visit often.

The famous Subramanya temple is hardly half a km from our house at Haripad .I never miss visiting this temple whenever I am at my native.

Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple at Haripad-Alappuzha

Half an hour drive from our house is Sree Nagaraja temple Mannarasala the abode of serpent gods, it’s like after i visit Haripad Ambalam next I have to visit Sree Mannarasala Temple.
The temple is the example of the finest temple architecture at Kerala



Chottanikkara Devi – Near Ernakulam

Amme Narayana ..Devi Narayana …….Chottanikkara Sri Bhagavathy Temple under the administration of Cochin Devaswom board located in Chottanikkara town, 17kms away from Ernakulum. Adiparasakthi / Durga - the mother Goddess, is the presiding deity of the temple. The devi has healing powers relating to mental illness
Mother Goddess is worshipped in 3 forms here
Saraswathy in the morning,
Lakshmi at noon and
Durga in the evening
Towards North east is keezhkaavu shrine is actually a paala tree. Worship here is believed to get rid of evil influences, psychological ailments, evil spirits etc. For the first time I had been to this temple



Vadakumnathan Kshetram at the great Thrissur

Vadakum means north and kshetram means temple , the lord of north ….Shiva ,temple is located at Thrissur is one of ancient temples of lord shiva.The temple is a classic example of Kerala Architecture .

Parammekavu Devi temple opposite to Vadakumnathan Kshetram at Thrissur
The temple has the biggest devi vigraha in kerala,it is believed that before visitng vadakumnathan kshetram devote has to first visit Devi temple .

Heard of this song thiruvambady Krishna..thiru mukha kamala….
The diety here is Vishnu in the form of Sri Krishna.




Ochira Parabrahmam – Kollam

Brahmavum vaishnava -shaivavumayoru omkara chaitanya me ,deva Ochira vazhumna sri parabramane adiyane kathidane.Poogala malaayi adiyande janman ninneleku arpikkunnu ariyada chedupoya papangalokeyum karpura jwaleyaka…the famous song I just love to hear this song again and again..
Also called as Dakshina Kashi Ochira temple is at Kollam , very close to Haripad there are no idols to worship here ,female forces (shakti) and Ochira Parabrahmam is believed to exists here
I like to visit this temple because I feel there is some kind of cosmic force here, its very natural and you can feel the presence or existence of some power here.


Thiruvairanikulam Mahadev Temple at Aluva - Ernakulam District
Thiruvairanikulam Mahadev Temple close to perumbavoor is 15 km south of Aluva in Ernakulam and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. A unique feature of this temple is that the srikovil of Devi Parvati's idol is opened only for 12 days in a year,
I had been to this place during this 12 day festival this temple is mostly visited by unmarried men and women to seek marriage blessings.
