A Wednesday morning ! 28 october 2009
Woke up at 7.30 am in the Morning ....Not again , i dont want to go through those calculus formulae's again ........no choice........ they say beggers have no choice .......just kidding!
The best thing about wednesday Morning is " Now the count down for the Weekend begins"
Its Midweek , perhaps wednesday has always been the best day of the week for me.
I had my bath , and then my usual morning breakfast ...egg and oat meal...
Took an auto to reach my office .....as my car was down with some technical issue.
The Auto driver was decent enough , he had put the meter on as soon as i got into the Auto ....... i was so happy ,not all Auto drivers do that .
But yes like all other Auto drivers ,he had an attitude i call it the Auto Raja Attitude
There are many local kannada and tamil movies made on Auto Drivers , for that matter there are a couple of Bollywood movies as well which were made on them.
The shortest distance between two points is a straight line ........ it's a line segment connecting point A to point B unless we move off a two-dimensional plane like the surface of the earth where circle is a shortest distance , yes since we are living on the surface of the earth the auto driver had to take me through curves and parabolas to reach my destination.
Finally i reached my destination and now i gave him a 500 rupee note as i did not have change with me.
The auto driver just turned his face off and said he had no change and expected me to go around and get change for him ..
My office is located in outer ring road - Bangalore east ....& there are hardly any shops there except for an Auto Stand close by ,from where he could have got change for me , but he was lazy ...... expected me to reach out to them...
He thought i would obey him and go around for change ..which did not happen..
My office is in an IT Complex -Salarpuria Soft Zone , and nobody is allowed inside the complex unless you make an entry of who you want to meet and why ? There are many offices inside the complex from SAP to HSBC .....IT to Banking is what i meant....
The poor driver did not realise the complications of getting inside the office , i told him i will get change and went inside the campus and made him wait for me for an hour ....
Reached my work station ,as usual checked my mails , went upstairs for breakfast finished my morning gossip and then drew money from ATM which is inside the cafetaria .
I felt so happy seeing him waiting for me ! Not every day i get a chance like this....
The driver was speaking with the security who was not allowing him to get inside the complex , he almost waited for an hour for me and he might have thought he had lost his pay...
What an attitide he had he did not even bother for his pay and asked me to run around for change , i taught him a lesson - Customer is King ......be it Auto driver or CEO of a company .
Finally i came outside the complex and paid him his wages ,he did not even ask me why i was late he knew it ...
From nowonwards he would never ask his customer to go around for change !
Always control your mind and If anybody try to spoil your day , spoil their day .... fight
Fighting makes life easy .... as u would not carry the burden of an issue or irritation with you ....
I taught him a lesson...
