Jungle Mount Adventures is an Adventure Spot in Coorg offering various packages like trekking, night safari, camp fire and more.The camp is on the bank of the river and it gives full view of hill ranges from the other side of the river. The spot is in Kodagu (originally called Kodaimalenadu) means 'dense forest on steep hill' Kodagu is on the Western Ghats of Karnataka , and this is one of the most beautiful hill stations in India .It lies on Karnataka's southwestern end, covering an area of 4,102 sq km.
The river Cauvery originates here at Talacauvery . yoo.. its the same Kannada nadina jeevanadi Cauvery .....
Jungle Mount Adventures is a base camp at the base of Thandiyendamol, the highest peak in Coorg. The Western Ghats lines the horizon .There is a river that flows right next to the camp where we tried triyaking. I was absolutely not good at triyaking , i tried it for the first time it was risky but really exciting!
The camp has cottages and huts,very scary at night . Snakes aound and do watch out for leeches.
The locals here have licensed guns as they were scared of animals which can attack them anytime . The locals here are very sweet and they invited us to their homes and gave us sweets and coffee.Coorgies are really sweet and friendly i must say .The locals told us a lot of ghost stories the night we camped there and our cab driver wanted a seperate room to stay as he was afraid to sleep in cab alone in the Jungle . We booked a room for the driver as well as we felt it was unsafe for him to sleep in the cab alone in the deep jungle.
That night we were all awake and i saw a figure in the mirror , still wondering what was that ?
It was defnitely not my face :) as the mirror was placed in a different angle and nobody could see their face from the angle where i was standing .The Mirror was inside the bathroom, and the switch box of the bathroom was inside the bathroom and anybody should get into the room first to switch on the light . I really got scared of the image which i saw in the Mirror and it was absolutely Dark...
Later next day the locals their informed us that 2 people drowned and died in the spot as they were drunk while kayaking. It was really a haunting place and everybody who have been there have some haunting experience.
It was fun , if you guys really enjoy taking risks and want to have a haunting experience visit Jungle Mount Adventures , its Mind Blowing ! Its just Fun Fun and Fun and nothing Else .........
